Homework

 

There will be homework assigned Monday through Thursday night. I will check homework at the end of the day as often as I can. Students will receive a homework grade for completeness only. Please complete ALL homework (including reading log) for credit. The nightly homework usually includes:

 

-Math worksheet (or HOMElinks workbook page)

-Read for 20 minutes (please sign reading log)

-Word study assignment

-Cursive pages (2 per week from Jan.-May)

-Study for a test *On Thursdays or weekends only *

 

Important information (file forms, permission slips, fliers, newsletters, etc. will arrive home in your child’s homework folder as well. Please make sure they return their folder every day! On Fridays, students will take home a “Friday Folder” with graded work that also needs to be returned!

 

If you are unclear of the nightly homework, check your student's agenda. Every morning they write the homework for that evening. They should bring it home each night so you can check it!
